Barbara Freeman

Barbara Freeman was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she enjoyed a happy childhood with her two sisters and four brothers. She earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and taught second grade. While teaching, Barbara recognized in some children a special need for emotional support, particularly those placed in foster-care or whose parents were getting divorced. She returned to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to earn a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. Barbara and her husband James live in Omaha, Nebraska. They have two sons, Michael and James.

Taricka L. Fairgood
Marketing Manager

Taricka Fairgood currently works at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the Office of Multicultural Affairs as the Assistant Director of Multicultural Programs and Outreach. She is the UNO Liaison for The SAVE Tutoring Program. She welcomes 40+ students into her department every other week as they are guided through their class homework and helped by UNO student tutors as needed.

She earned her bachelors degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

She thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family and love ones when she is not studying or working. She loves helping others; Taricka is now the Marketing Manager for nationally known author, Barbara Freeman. She creates and promotes flyers and handbills for the author’s books.

Kyle T. Hudson

Director of Technology

Kyle migrated from Chicago, IL to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Kyle is currently in training to become a Deacon at New Rising Star Baptist Church. Kyle spends most of his time working out and enjoys football. He likes to do computer work and avidly read the Bible. He is younger brother to Knolan Hudson.

Milan Aranda

Directress of Technology

A recent graduate from Burke High School. Milan will major in Elementary Education at Northwest Missouri State College. She enjoys reading for personal entertainment.

Knolan T. Hudson

Director of Technology

Knolan moved from Chicago,IL to Omaha, NE and is an independent Consultant for Arbonne. Knolan enjoys being a consultant ,running and sampling vegan dishes, and participating as a Stephen Minister at his church Countryside Community Church. He is older brother to Kyle Hudson.

Michael Horne

Public Relations Specialist

Michael earned his B.S. Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Michael currently works as a Youth Director at Douglas County Youth Center. He is a member of the Salem Baptist Church. Michael is especially talented in the Creative Arts Area.
